Thank you for stopping by my site where you can find out more about me and how I can help you on your road to publication...
I'll be honest by saying I was never one of those people who always dreamed about being a writer but once the writing bug took hold then that's all I wanted to do.
However, like any dream or goal, the road getting there was a tough journey.
Rejections piled up and I was even told by one editor to go do something else because I'd never make it as a writer.
Dreamer that I am, I kept on going and eventually became not only a full time freelance writer but a published fiction author too.
It's been 18 years since I turned to freelance writing and the 10th anniversary of my first published book, A Sterling Affair published by The Wild Rose Press. Since then, 100 plus books have followed.
One thing I feel all published authors should do is share their knowledge so for the last eight years I've been tutoring for an online school and teaching workshops offered through various chapters of the Romance Writers of America.
"I would highly recommend and strongly encourage all writers seriously considering to pursue their writing careers, to take advantage of Susan's enthusiasm and professional skills she so willingly shares with her students. I honestly believe her teaching techniques and methods will prove helpful for writers at all skill levels. Susan is not only a great teacher, but helped to influence me to continue with my own writing goals. I myself look forward to more of Susan's upcoming classes in the near future. Sincerely, Patty Koontz"
Last year I also decided to offer a coaching and mentoring service to help my fellow writers realize their dream too.
Maybe you've got an idea for a book, or even started to write but can't find the energy or motivation to finish it. I offer coaching and mentoring services where we connect through e-mail or online to help get you started on your project and I work with you to see it through to the final draft. I work with both fiction and non-fiction authors, and those wanting to launch a freelance career.
And if you'd like some feedback or a critique of your work I also offer those services too.
“We at LRWA have had the pleasure of providing a platform for Susan to deliver her on-line classes over the past several years, and we have never been disappointed. We wish there were more teachers like her! She is the consummate professional with a vast array of knowledge and experience that will benefit any writer. Board Members of the Lowcountry chapter of Romance Writers of America.”
